  1. I was in Chautauqua for the weekend and managed to sneak on the ice for a bit at Prendegast Point. Report from one other was dismal. I pulled a few small perch out in the afternoon. Not the success I've had in the past, hope the fishing picks up. There were a bunch of guys out at the Bell Tower and Mayville, not sure how they did??
  2. The info is always apreciated, glad to hear you guys hit em hard Wed.
  3. I skipped out on the Giants on Sunday to make a few passes Two hours without a bite Monday evening turned up a small king, a brown trout, and a nice size king. The hits were on a chartruse/orange mag and a chartruse/orange J. Our luck was in 25 fow.
  4. Steve-I was out there with ya. We nabbed a couple on a black and purp J and a chartruse/orange J around 6 pm, bang bang and nothin after that. Nice boat, what is it?
  5. Good info, thanks Foster

  8. Wow good weekend. As for next year it would seem that there will be plenty of decent size fish, it's definetely good to look forward to. Good luck if you make it to Cuba. I'm assuming it's an ice tourney...hope the ice holds up for you all.
  9. Thanks for the info Jimski, I was wondering how things were there. I went out by home today. I made it half way out then turned around and went home. I would say the ice travel is nothing short of miserable by foot.
  10. awesome
  11. Great, thanks for all the info. Good luck
  12. jimski2- nice catch. How far off the bottom can you see those perch sitting at times? I've caught a number of fish a few feet off the bottom but do they float up higher?
  13. My G/F and I did good there last weekend. Everything out of Mayville was small. Pendergast was by far better for larger fish. We mixed it up a bit but smaller set ups seemed to catch more. Did real well with small jigs and the smallest minnows in the bucket...good luck to all.
  14. A good day. I seemed to have steered around them most of the day. I was in the same water with similar diver leads. I did take one good rip on a wire diver set up but lately they have been relatively unproductive for me. I've been curious if my choices of diver colors have any effect. Have you found that one diver color is working more than any other? Thanks
  15. Congrats....what a trophy
  16. Easy...glow frog stinger. Second....kavorkian stinger (silver cup)
  17. Nice. You weren't missing anything Sunday. Went out for a bit....you could surf on those seas.
  18. Got out for a bit after work. Started in 200 fow. Boated a nice coho 45 down. Worked rest of night 300-350 fow. Lost a big guy that hit a glow frog stinger down 45. Battled for a while, screaming line... then poof. Fish were hitting light tonight. Had rods go off five more times, just couldn't get em to hold on. For what it's worth the hits were on 30 foot riggs and 75 foot riggs. Even had a bang on a diver set at 2 out 300. Still ~65 degree water way down.
  19. Introduced some newbies to a rocky road, but a nice day on the water. Thank you Lake Runner for getting me on the fish quick. Boated two 6-8 lb kings on riggs with about 140 feet of cable out. Pulled a nice rainbow down 30 that weighed just under 10 lbs on my scale...threw him back. Went on to work 200-300 fow to boat another small king and 4 more nice rainbows on riggs 65-75 down. Found it difficult to get a good hook set on those we lost on the real deep cables because of all the slack. Have to give my girlfriend credit for pulling out the blueberry muffin stinger which has been hot for us No diver activity at all.
  20. I sent a PM, not too familiar with that. Is the unit still for sale?
  21. Ronwerk- I start using cut bait in early-mid summer if it is available. I usually run it on twinkies behind divers with about a 6-8' leader. I've had luck running it off riggs but definitely prefer the divers.
