  3. Great report...good luck tomorrow...hope the weather and lake settle down
  4. I was out there with you Bill....I started out at 130 and worked out to 220 just west of you. First hit was at 199 on green/yellow SD with white fly. Second on black Dalmation SD and green fly. both teens. Flees are bad, luckily I have flee flicker on all poles but one......I will be changing that reel today.....that was annoying having only that one pole loading with flees.

Took the Steely off a mupped mulato , hit the slider 60 down over 155FOW . 8 year old played the whole thing himself. around 12LBS.
  8. I was able to get out in the afternnon off IBAY... good 2 - 4s out there..calmed down to just rollers every now and then went from 80 - 120 and then turned around.... Lots of marks from 60-90 FOW pulled a 10# king in 60 down 35 with mupped Mulato two rips on the wires with nothing to show for it....

  10. we were fishing the falls...there is a ridge underneath that runs the length of the falls....drift it backwards and bang.....rip.
  11. eggs sacks and my fly rod.....I didn't see anything either that day...but we were there and i was teaching the kids how to fish the creek and voila!
  12. Yes...it is a MF big rod....11' someone gave it to me....I use it as a a 10 color lead core pole off the chute during the year...and as a kids pole in the fall....
  13. Helped the kids get a couple nice steelhead over the last couple of weekends....one in Irondequoit Creek and the other off Summerville..... You have to love steelhead if you are a kid....they are about as crazy as the kids are...
  14. We pulled three for four this morning in exactly the same boat parking lot.....1st was a steelie on green/silver j-plug 28 down in 35 F.O.W., 2nd was 14lb king on bloody nose j-plug 23 down in 36fow, third was a hog on green/silver j-plug again ended up ripping the line after 20 minutes...the fourth was 16lb king on gold with black ladderback j-plug 28 down in 40fow. All in all it was pretty good morning between the fishing....the steering through the parking lot ....and then the armada of wind fairies that split the fishing boats at 10am....
  15. Fish fish did fight well...and I know Justin in the picture didnt care what was on the other end of the line....the pole didnt even really realease...it just went straight to the water....fish made several good runs....when we were netting it we thought we caught the most active carp ever.....
  16. My nephew pulled this hog in yesterday...made several good runs ...NK28 Purple Thunder if you are gonna go and try to get one.. We slowed down to try and pull a laker or fat brown.....Viola!
  17. Does that take american gas or do we have to fill it up by the litre?
  18. Took the kids to the canal the other day and told them we were fishing for Yellow-finned canal trout. Allister managed this fine specimen all by himself.. thought he was going in a couple of time...but he does know how to swim.....
  19. Awesome day of fishing with Missdemeanor today. Final stats were 12 for 14...My dad needs to step his game and stop dropping fish. two steelies and the rest browns..biggest around 10Lbs..everything fired today mono-dipseys, wire-dispeys, riggers, and even a 10 color lead..... Thanks to Matt for taking us out and letting me pick his brain for the morning....should be very helpful for getting my boat to catch fish....
  20. Hey Ray, Ill take a King if you are putting fishing on spoons for people. In fact...could you put that on a wire and net it for me too?
  21. Bakersdozen....I was next to you several times today...I am the TerrPenn , also a 21' penn yan...blue..... the temp line was definitely set at 75' - 55degrees, 80' -50 degrees and colder below that..... We were 2 for 4 nice brown, and skipper made it in the boat. One "no-one home" and a sevre rip on the wire out 260' that has my green spin doctor green krinkle fly......he can have it...it was worth it to see the face of the newbie I had on the boat that grabbed the rod......you would have thought hed had hooked a whale....priceless.... I was on channel 68 for a while....i should check 8 every once in a while
  22. I got your number. Hope your felling better. I will be in touch...The shakedown run went well....only the one SD/fly lost on the the breakoff...other than that....looks good.
  23. I am on the mend ...12 weeks after having rotator cuff surgery and I am finally getting back out on the water. I was able to make use of the time, with one arm, and I painted the entire boat, reupholster and upgraded everything from top to bottom.... I am a huge Maryland Terrapin fan and used to have an 18 foot SeaRay....now I have a 21 foot Penn Yan.....and have named it the TerraPenn. I fish out of the Irondequoit Bay.... Here are some pix of the boat...
