There was a good article on this in the Great Lakes Outdoors magazine I believe.

Makes me wonder where the hell where they all when I was hunting those areas this year.

Just missed a very tall tined buck with the van last night in Burt. He was chasing a couple of does through the orchards. Saw the 2 does just as they cleared the road and thought where there is 2 there is usually a 3rd, so on went the brakes and he crossed about 5 ft in front of the bumper.

Have had brits around me my whole life. Very lovable and affectionate dogs. Good all around hunters. If you want a dog for both house and field, you can't go wrong with a brit.

After seeing that picture it truly is an awesome deer.

Definately a trophy in more than 1 way. Keep us posted.

I watched a nice 8pt running a doe today at 11:00am just off the 290 in tonawanda.

I probably would've peed myself if that walked out in front of me. One hell of a deer for sure.

They grow that big cause you can't hunt them there. I've seen some impressive racks in Amherst and North Tonawanda areas.

The show is this coming week at the Buffalo Bills Field House starting Thursday. The Niagara River Anglers will be there with thier portable mini pond. They are looking for volunteers to help man this. The proceeds go towards our youth programs such as kids contests throughout Niagara County and sending kids to Conservation Camp in the summer. It's amazing how many of us think of these as junk fish. I really think I'm going to make an effort to give it a shot this year.
