  1. Haven't seen the cannon bags in a while. If my memory is correct, the canons didn't have the strap running the length of the bag? I remember seeing them a couple of years ago, but can't find the material specs on the the net- or a picture for that matter. so, I have to answer.... I can't honestly answer that question.
  2. Getting some more ... prices are up about 5-7$/bag or so due to materials price increase.
  3. Looking for a Yamaha 2000 or newer 60 hp. two stroke. Boat is set up for (and cut) fro a 704 control... Need that too. Looking to stay with the Yamaha. Let me know if you have one or know where one is. Thanks
  4. Copies of the Bloody Point triple planer boards with the exception of the hardware. I used mostly zinc coated hardware. Lock nuts are stainless. Copies of these... http://www.alltackle.com/Merchant2/merc ... ode=BPBTPB Too big for my use. Ran once, and collecting dust ever since. A couple of dings from being moved, but in great shape overall. Boxed- to your door (US side) $100. The nuts take forever to run into place, so re-assembly will take a little while. Brewski shown for size- not included.
  5. Good find! I'm going to order a walleye spoon kit!
  6. I've had very good luck with the marine batteries available at Costco. Can't beat the price for a lead acid battery.
  7. Cool. I'd be interested to hear what you think of them. The pictures do look good.

    Merc 9.9

Good motor, price seems just a tad high.. If it has good compression, starts easy, and the lower unit doesn't need re-sealed, there's no reason that motor won't last 30 years. I've been running a '69 merc. 7.5 since new... These things are pretty much bullet proof.
  9. 4 in all, very good shape, a little dusty, $75 shipped. 2 Attwoods, and 2 Anglers Pal 7 3/4" PayPal ok...
  10. $900? Come and get them. Need seed money for the next toy.....
  11. I know of a few people who have done business with this guy. Great prices, and may be able to ship.. He has both Suzuki, and Yamaha. http://www.edsmarinesuperstore.com/
  12. Bump- Still for sale. Lee Jr. bases, 19' gold spreaders, 2 inch bases, complete.. Just north of Pittsburgh..
  13. Forgot to add, the webbing is one inch. The ones I've been using are also one inch.
  14. Hi Muskybob 2-22's would be $75 shipped to you. I'm using 22's on my Carolina Classic 25 for walleye on Erie. It gets me down from 3.3/3.5 to about 2, by the time all the gear I'm dragging is out. This includes the tabs.. Sometimes I just use one bag. I don't do any early spring walleye trolling so the 1 mph or sub 1 mph speeds aren't something I have a need for. Boat size is an important part of the decision on which bags to use, but boat weight is a bigger part of the equation. My boat weighs north of 8K. Thats a whole bunch to slow down. A set of 22's should serve your needs just fine.
  15. Materials are made in the USA. Assembled in the USA. 18oz. vinyl coated polyester, not boat cover material. This is the same material type Helly Hansen and Grundens Commercial fishing gear is made of. 100% nylon webbing straps, not poly blend. Been using this bag for 6 years on my boat and have had no problems. These are not drift socks, they are trolling bags.
  16. If these were drift socks, the sizes would be 26", 28", 36", and 48". These Trolling bags are measured at the "open" diameter.
  17. I've got a bunch of trolling bags from an Amish Boat Cover maker. 15, 18, 22 and 30" bags. Some have two inch webbing. $60-$100, per pair shipped. Will try to post a picture.
  18. I fished ontario for the first time this spring. I couldn't get over how many old squaws there were. On Erie, I never see them. Why are there so many on western Ontario, but next to none on Erie? Food?
  19. So THATS what they look like! (some day I'll catch one!) NICE FISH!!!
  20. Well, fished the 2nd and 3rd. Got on the water on the 2nd about 8:00, and fished until 4:00. Had one hit. Put in at Wilson went 3-4 miles west, and set up in 60'. Boats were fishing 72-75' pretty hard. ran north-south out to 155' and back in. Marked fish all over. Riggers and stackers, From floro orange to burnt orange, same with the green's. Pinks, reds on black, silver on black.... You name it. Spin doctor with flies, flies on dipsys.... Kokanee rig.... One hit with two days of fishing.. I shoulda been there THIS weekend
  21. Thanks for the kind words guys. And S.W., thanks for the e-mail. I'll be pulling out in a few hours. I'll report back on our results. THANKS!
  22. Well, weather permitting I'll be dragging the boat to Ontario this friday. I plan on showing up late Friday and fishing Saturday and Sunday weather permitting. I've clicked around on this site to pluck as much "know how" as I could. Its all sloshing around in my head, and some of it never to be retrieved again. I've got a bunch of spoons, all shapes, colors and sizes. Flashers, flies, stick baits, down rigger releases, and boards.... A couple of kitchen sinks too. My presentation will not include wire or lead core. I don't have any kind of temperature sensor with the exception of the surface temp. Having read about and heard about the spring fishing at the bar, this is the year I finally get to do it. Just thinking out loud...... If you happen to see a 25' boat circling aimlessly with the keystone cops on board accept my apology in advance!!
