  1. Your boat or mine. All of my buddies are too busy with “other” activities. I mostly fish weekends but have a flexible work schedule so during the week is also possible. Looking for 1 or 2 fisherman who share the same passion for chasing Browns, Salmon (eastern end Ontario) and Walleye on Oneida. I live 90 minutes from Oswego and 30 minutes from Oneida. I have a FM196 and have everything we need for a descent spread. I am happy going on your boat and will split all gas and launch costs. I can typically go on short notice. Give me a call or text: 315-280-6053. Tom.
  2. If you have access to Microsoft Word, place all your pic's on a Word.Doc, then compress the pictures and attach. Good luck selling
  3. I swear I caught that one last year in the same spot the week before the walleye opener. I put it back in the water w/o a measurement... The biggest walleye I ever saw. Nice catch, that would be a nice wall hanger
  4. Mexico launch is fine. I prefer to launch outta Port Ontario, but have heard its shallow this year. Not sure
  5. Apparently, Saturday (with the blue sky's) was a better day than the rain/overcast Sunday. go figure. had a quality not quantity day with a 5 and and 10 pounder in 10/12 fow on a silver/orange stickbait and a chicken-wing Stinger. Great day to be on the water just the same.
  6. This is NOT Craigslist

  17. I went from a cramped 1988 Grumman CC 16.5 footer to the 2005 FM196 with a 115 merc 4S, and a 9.9 kicker, which to me is like fishing in my living room. I love it. I tow it with a toyota highlander no problem. It's a big water boat set-up for trolling with 4DR's and dipseys.. On Oneida its a little clumsy with the high sides if you want to sit down and jig (nothing beats a casting platform), but when the waves kick-up you will be glad you have it. Anything newer than mine should have a 150hp or more. as a reference, I paid 18K (Loaded), May, 2019
  18. RKP, also look at the other sites, ie, Lake Erie United, and Lake Champlain United, which is where i found my FM196 2 years ago from a recommendation from someone on this site. Good luck. https://www.lakeerieunited.com/walleye/forum/14-classifieds-buy-sell-trade-or-rent/ https://www.lakechamplainunited.com/forums/ Tom
  19. Last Spring I decided to replace the floor in my Grumman CC 16 footer, 1988. (it sold on this site last May) After taking the battery and tank out from under the splashwell, I noticed that the transome was very soft. There was about 10" of exposed wood and you could scrap it away like it it was wet cardboard. After removing the motor , and transome trim, it was apparent how bad the decay was. I removed all of the original transome and made a new one from 3-layers of 1/2" marine grade plywood. So be sure to stick your head under the splashwell and poke around with a screwdriver to look for soft wood.
