Congrats to the kid first and foremost. Know this, I was also saying that tiger mortality on this lake seems unusually high and that can most likely be attributed to lack of knowledge and is a reason I decide to not fish there to often. Always remember opinions are like a $$holes, we all have one. I have mine and you have yours. Good day sir, off to things that really matter

I would say that muskies caught on lines not intended for them most likely have a higher mortality rate and as a guide who introduces people to the sport, should offer more esox equipment.
As for me saying that to your face, don't know how push came to shove but we all know Ur mentality. Thanks for your input but I wasn't educated on anything other than your many years of fishing license purchases.

And why are the tigers so elusive? Maybe it's bc half of em that get caught in that lake end up on stringers or in campfires. Shame that this resource isn't respected at all imo.

Yet another dead tiger..... seems to happen when these fish eat lil baits n swallow em like that big one caught salmon fishing also last week. Happy the kid got a fish but........ otisco seems to be the place to catch n kill tigers from all the pics I see at the campground. Accidental catch I get it but the harvest on otisco is insane.

Let's all flood Mike with baits to paint now! I'm boxing up 30 to send to him! Hey Mike, how about free repaints for all LOU guys?

That bait looks better than the fish. Live kid pics and Mike is a phenomenal painter but that leader looks damn thin. Don't go losing that masterpiece of a lure on us now

Saw that on fb, doesn't look like the fish went back in the water does it? That could been one of our monsters that one of us coulda run into this fall.....

Tony grants says the big tigers come shallow during the hot weather. A look at the tiger musky records will show a direct relationship to his theory .

Good for u guys. With the hot weather, those tigers get in the shallow weeds and are able to be caught casting.

Greg in that pic had just under 100 ohio fish on my 4s last year, not bad for a bait I don't make anymore.

Ivan, the 4s have been a nightmare for me, they were good until I lost my original lip template n made a new one, issue was my line tie was 1/4" too far forward. Had to remake sooooo many baits that each time someone says 4" I cringe but when they r good, they r good.

Buddy in ohio just got this 51x26 est 41lber on a 4" baker. Rumored to be one of the biggest outta ohio in many years.
