Sold / Closed 1988 Baha 280 Hardtop For Sale

Are you the guy who bought Billy V's boat?
  3. Yeah it does Pete, but look at the rust in the last 2 pics. Makes you wonder what might be going on inside that engine. I'm just paranoid about saltwater. At least it has freshwater cooling which minimizes the saltwater passage.
  4. Good one! Lmao. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Hey Pete...I'm sure your better half would appreciate that comment.
  6. Some nice looking boats...A lot of them seem to have been used in saltwater though.

  8. Excellent work! Very well done. Wow this brings back many memories. I remember doing that with my son many years ago. He got hooked and is now a licensed charter captain
  9. Chill! Chill!....I don't hate? Just having some fun. Should have said just a "Tall Tail" from a Baha owner. Lol. I wouldn't dispute what you said for a minute. All boats have their problems and some more than others. I will take you up on that "walk" the next time I'm up at Wright's so you can point some things out to me.
  10. That's a fairy tale told by a Baha owner! Lol
  11. Not sure where to find it but team Finders Keepers won big fish fri. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Any idea of the cost of overhauling twin 5.7 liter mercruisers?
  13. I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge about the maximum hours on a straight inboard engine before thinking about replacement? I understand a lot would depend on the proper maintenance done on the engine before reaching those hours. Let's say a boat that was really taken care of has around 4000 engine hours. Would we be looking at possibly needing an engine replacement soon? I know this might be hard to predict, but I'm sure some of the experts on this forum could venture a good opinion based on their experience. Thanks for any knowledgeable replies.
  14. Good job tracking those down
  15. I have one too. 1999 with 5.7 EFI and Bravo 3. Love it!
  16. I have to think they moved offshore into the depths as well. I have read that nowadays it is not uncommon for them to be down 300 ft or deeper right near bottom. The new torpedo divers with weights are designed to go to those depths. Has anybody tried this? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. We ran short cores up top too and they didn't take a hit today. Down 20 to 25 with riggers was the only depths to take fish for us today.
  18. Did 3 browns early today and that was it. Quit at around 10am. A lot of boats in tight today, but they didn't stay long. Hardly any boats offshore today. All fish came 20-25 down over 40-50 ft of water.
