  1. Awwwwww Man...Would have placed very well in the spring LOC.
  2. Ummmmm.....You're talking about a 29 foot Prowler! Not even close to a Contender.
  3. The delay was due to a change in the system the state was using. It was published in local papers. I got my license a couple weeks ago without issue. I have also heard of problems registering online and yes u do need a printer. Overall I have never had a problem obtaining a license other than once when dicks was all sold out. 4. I believe he moves his boat down that way in early spring.
  5. Hi Pete...Thanks for the offer...I don't need any stick baits for Wilson. I'm just looking for some things I don't have if I can get them at a reasonable price. In otherwards, I'm hoarding...Lol.
  6. You a PM on bomber and rebels
  7. Certainly not cheap if you're not a Oswego county resident. I'm not, but I pay the price anyway because it's clean and has nice facilities, good parking, you're close to everything and you don't have to go far to get into deeper water. On the lam posted a link with info about the marina in this thread. Maybe this year I will get to meet more fishermen docked there. This will be my 2nd year there (I was only up there for the months of August and September last year) I hope to have my boat docked there the 1st weekend in May.
  8. Could your line have wrapped around it to cause those gashes?
  9. This is a question that will generate tons of feedback. Daiwa SG47LC are great workhorse reels for wire dipsy, downrigger, and planer board applications. Great leadcore reel too. For copper, you need a large capacity reel able to hold 300 ft of backing (typical amount) with 300-600 feet of copper as well. Tekotas are great for this purpose. You are better off buying new and good quality reels. Last thing you want is for it to fall apart when you have a big salmon screaming drag lmao. Hope this helps. 10. How far with a 10 inch spin doctor or 11 inch paddle?
  11. Cannon Dual Axis. I switched to these last year after using Traxstech. Really simple to ratchet up the rod holder with one hand while grabbing a screaming dipsy rod out of it with the other hand. Traxstechs are now my backups.
  12. Thanks for the detailed description Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. 1. Was the boat ever in saltwater? 2. Is there a motor box in the transom? 3. What models of Lowrance? GPS/ FF combos? 4. Beam width? 5. Does radar unit stay? 6. Any Shorepower? pumpout head? VHF? Stereo? 7. Auto pilot? 8. Downrigger model? Can you outline all the equipment that comes with the boat in your description. Thanks.
  14. Soft top version of the venerable Penn Yan 265 Pro Hunter
  15. Thanks PD. I've owned enough of them. Lol. It's a nice boat and so is yours
  16. Were you using wire, braid, mono? Just curious.
