Nice report Rick. Never in my wildest dreams did I think our 3 salmon would make a top 10 finish, but we did! We saw about 35 boats and rarely saw a net move, but you never know what the other 30 boats might be doing. Considering we didn't move a rod on Thursday and was only 1 for 1 on Friday I knew it was probably going to be a tough day on Saturday. Our 3 fish were pretty good though and that put us into the top ten. Overall a great tourney as always   Looking forward to next year!

Heard on the radio this morning that Counties against safe act are trying to find ways to circumvent the safe act (legally)and that followed by reports that Governor (aka emperor) Cuomo considering revising parts of the bill naming clip size as one example.

 

I also heard on the radio that he is considering a rebate for families between 40K and 300K incomes of $350.  I am guessing this is to drive up approval ratings but I will take it.  Gas isn't cheap.

   Yeah I read about the gun legislation tweak. They want to go back to 10 round clips being legal to make it more consistent with range rules.

    It appears it's getting a little too hot in the kitchen for some legislative guys or maybe they are starting to run a little scared. A small 

    consolation, but it's a start.

I have also used the traxstech tracks with traxstech 3 inch swivel bases for a few years without any problems. Backing plates are a must IMO.

1).  Four (4) Cabelas Line-counter Gold series DMG 30 reels with Okuma upgraded stainless T-handles.  The reels have 4,5,6 and 7 colors of leadcore backed by #30 lb fireline fused and mono leaders.....ready to fish.  I will also include the rods which are older Shimano Triton downrigger rods in decent shape.  Reels have had light freshwater use.  The leadcore is two years old and has been painstakenly colored dark for added stealth.  Each reel is marked with how much lead and the amount of line out to the end of the leader for precision spreads.

 

Asking $240.00 for all four leadcore combos

 

2).  Two (2) Penn 345 reels with 300' and 450' of copper plus #50 lb power pro backing + mono leader.  Seen VERY light duty in freshwater only.  Reels are two years old.  I will throw in two Cabelas dipsy 9' rods.  Ready to fish.

What size Dreamweaver ball bearing swivels do you guys use for running spoons off your downriggers on Lake O? Do you use duolock or coastlock? What size do you use for divers when running either flashers and flies or spoons off of them?

What size and type (coastlock, duolock) of these swivels are you guys (those that use them) using for spoons?  What size for divers and flashers?

I'm with you especially when I read about sticky drags and linecounters.

     I am looking for a few moonshine spoons. Hoping to find a few matching colors in the reg and mags. I would like to have at least 2-3 of each for when I loose one. Looking to get 3-4 diffrent colors to me get started.  

 A sponsor or 2 here sell them. Coldwater tackle is one I know that sells them. You're most likely going to have to buy new as used ones very rarely if ever show up here even if you have this site on speed dial as some of you here do!

2nd hand moonshines are hard to find, I would suggest the spending the long dollar for new ones in the colors jam suggested, I would add Ratchet Jaw mags and Green Shorts standards.

Bought a bunch of NK 28 and NK mag size spoon's at the LOTSA and forgot about asking what size treble hooks they run as they were just the blank spoons that I purchased.  Anyone know what size typically comes with or works with these?   I emailed and called NK but no answer - they might be busy making spoons
