You will be fine. Just don't run the cores five feet apart. Me personally I like to run my cores and coppers off church boards. They work great. We run 3-4 boards per side of boat. 3,5,7,10 color and a 100,150,200,300 copper on the other. Just don't run a core and copper on sane side of boat at same time. Tipping is a touchy subject to some boats.. I have clients ask how much should they tip the mate. I do not give a number. I say like stated above, if you feel like they deserve a nice cut, by all means have at it. Lately, I have had to do many trips, sometimes without a mate. Not preferred but helps. I work my butt off out there just like any other captain. If a client feels they have had a great, safe enjoyable trip, the tips show..... Hey guys. Does anyone know where a good place to find used or maybe new inboard tranmsissions. Looking for prices on one to pair with a Volvo 454 to Volvo MS5A 1.92:1 gear ratio. Starboard side. Please if you know any leads.... Maybe even a full set possibly a slightly different ratio? Nick
