  2. evening gents, we went out this morning, Ed,Rodney, and his father. bright and early, started east and bait was scarce so were the fish, moved over the the west side abot 9 and sarted getting into them, flasher and fly was the main bite on wire and some spoons took land locks and browns. managed to boat about 15 fish out of 18 or so hits. some nice browns and a real nice land lock, with some cookie cutters as well. lost a big LL first thing too. we kept a few for the grill, only about 6 fish total today had lamphreys and we killed one of them that was attached, two got away.. be out tomorrow in the rain as well. here is a shot of the KEOKE rule
  3. Rodney and Ed, I will be on seneca tomorrow. might make a small run up the lake and fish. monitoring ch. 68. If anyone else is around, and when they come off the water we can have a cookout at my dock at ervays..im sure there will be fresh fish Tight Lines and good luck.
  4. dave, good luck, i passed you on youre way home yesterday in horseheads by the holding point! i figured you would of done good yesterday, think the sun killed the fishing?
  5. i odnt think you will have a problem pushing the boat. i have fished out of plenty with the weight you are pushing and they all use from a 9-15.....high thrust long shaft is your better bet. plus, as far as weight distribution, what side are your batteries on??
  6. i use my blow back on my riggers to judge what i like, i will go by my down speed more than my gps. however, u run through alot of batteries on my cannon probe...need to update
  7. try using some inlines. The z boards work great! we used them the otherday in heavy wave action. held their course!
  8. used the baby-Z's and the big brothers so far, awesome tracking inlines!!!
  9. when ya spool 15 rods, you can use it up fast
  10. gps always seem to read a bit faster... that water temps is low, were you in the south end? i saw there was a mud line saturday from the east side below the painted rock that came across to the break walls...

  13. oh man, i hope they can help me out, i got the rod at a great deal at west marine for only 20 bucks, but i really wanna get'er fixed thanks guys

  15. so i made an uht-ohhh, i broke the upper half of this rod, and it hasnt even gotten wet yet....doors have no give i suppose. does anyone know if okuma offers or sells only just the half....this is an 80 dollar rod.... thanks nick

  17. i had seen a trophy similar to yours...what was the water temp out there?
  18. think i passed you about 5 am or so coming down the rt 13 hill..was it you? good job
  19. fillet them, didnt see gobes...., but im sure there were some here and there, considering the gobes are everywhere
