We have a boat full of these. I love the versatility of them. Only thing to watch out for is the roll pins. Other than that they are very reliable. I've had Bert's and used traxtech. These are smooth and all a one hand operation. I wish I could get them in black. Good luck

Sorry there was a post there. Had an empty seat and posted for someone to join fished bright and early. Landed some nice fish. Best day we've had yet. Only our fourth time out. I didn't want to come off the water. Kept a few for a neighbor. Bite was good nice and deep. Suspended. Not all fish caught were marked.

Depends. I do both and even some other tricks. There's days it works great and days they will not touch it.. But days it's a struggle, that's my main go to. Fresh is best.

Go with the 25. My shaft on the Honda I just installed was 27" change. I think Honda calls it a 28. But I am glad, it worked perfectly, a little more water would of been nice under the motor but, I didn't wanna sacrifice my swim platform as we use our boat for fun filled adventures other than fishing. Here's a shot at our setup.

I've never thought thought of using a meat rig on seneca. Hmmm. Gonna have to go shopping:blink:>_>

You can use the bait where you catch it, just can't transport it... So, it's almost like salt life. Gotta start your day catching bait then go fishing!

I have a 20hp Honda, and it pushes my tiara just fine. I believe my weight is mid teens and it works just fine.. A 15 will be perfect for you.

42-46 surface south end on Sunday. Saw one bait ball high that was it. Fish I cleaned Sunday were packed full of bait.
