Well, we trolled for the first time from my dads new boat. We launched from deans cove at 7:00 and ran north a little ways, turned around and set up on a south troll. From there to sheldrake was a steady pick of Lakers. It didn’t matter if we were 120, or 50 feet of water. I even had a large lake trout chase a spoon as I was reeling in a lead core line really fast to the boat. I saw it lunge for the spoon right at the back of the boat. First time I’ve seen that. I was impressed with my Dads little ride. It handled white caps from the north all day. It’s still gonna get set up with an electric motor on the front. We are planning on chasing fish wherever they hide... big lakes to the finger lakes, no fish is safe[emoji482]
