    The fish hawk doesn’t rely on the cable for signal. It uses a transducer. So it doesn’t matter either way.

    These are bullet proof. I have an old set from the 80’s that are stilling going strong.

    I have the same rigger . It does not have auto stop just positive ion. Coated cable means it was used at one time with a downrigger speed and temp unit of some kind.

    If gas keeps going up this will be cheaper in the long run. LOL. Plus no maintenance. the only issue I see is how any hours it may or may not last.

    Like new. Only used a few times last year. No stains. Realized ice fishing isn’t for me. Has floatation and 150 gr insulation. Exterior 600 D fabric. XL. Really nice jacket.
