Let the savage 220 rip this morning. Not a very big doe, but meat in the freezer. First deer with the new gun, so that was cool. Been in the stand since 5:45. That hand warmer on the back of the neck is a game changer. Only action I’ve had so far was around noon. Had a nice buck chasing a doe, but never presented a shot.
