  1. No docks as of 4/8/12. Launching wasn't that bad with a 16' boat.
  2. All that makes sense on paper, but if you want to catch them out of Conesus, good luck! There is so much bait in there the 'Eyes don't chase too many lures. Night time in the spring with stick baits is your best bet.
  3. Here is a standard 6 gal., metal gas tank for an outboard boat motor. It has good gas cap and a fuel line fitting for a Johnson/Evinrude motor. 60 bucks. Call 585-704-9613. Thanks!
  4. Here are two, three blade props for a 1966 Johnson 3 cylinder outboard. Both are used but good condition. 50 bucks for both. Call 585-704-9613. Thanks.
  5. Went out of Massaug Cove yesterday and couldn't believe how bad the Bay was. It was the roughest I've seen in a long time. NE wind and waves that were about 3footers with whitecaps everywhere! I turned around and ended up fishing shallow to avoid disaster. There were some perch to be found but not any size. Lots of sunnies and a few bass mixed in. All in all, it was good ice fishing practice. The warmup next week should make for some good fall perchin'. Good luck and C all you lurkers out there! dEv-O
  6. Those suspended fish are usually white perch, gills, or sunnies Potseed. Try in more shallow next time for the perch. A small silver Kastmaster makes a great search lure then switch to minnows once you find a school. Sometimes it takes many moves until you find the school. Drift or troll with the electric, don't sit and wait for the fish to come to you. Good luck!
  7. On Saturday we parked on top of a nice school of ringbacks and never moved all day. We were on top of the dropoff in 14fow. Went through 5 dozen fatheads in 3 hours. A few bass, lots of sunnies, 'gills, and sheepheads mixed in too.
  8. Nice markings on the 'eye. .............Caught in early May I presume?
  9. Troll or drift with bottom bouncers and worm harnesses. You can catch them in the middle of the day when they are there, we don't start seeing them untill the middle of July though. I believe they follow the bait into the bay from the lake. Just my .02$
  10. Just ask Zach, He's the muskie GURU around here!
  11. I caught three tigers last year speed trolling( about 5mph) right down the middle of the lake with a blue and silver Newman muskie lure. Good luck.
