  1. Thanks man !!! Seneca Ghost and Iron Duke Flys where on fire and also a few of my top secret rainbow spoons as well.... Mike
  2. Well my Dad , my Son and Joe and myself started out with the plan to head to Ontario to get my son into his first king but the weather report turned me against that idea and decided since I have a tourney coming up on Canandaigua to head there for the day in hopes of some Rainbow action.... We launched at Woodville and we could barely get the boat off the trailer due to extremely low water conditions..... May have to launch in the north end in a couple weeks unless we get some serious rain .... We setup at the drop off and continued north running Dipsys , coppers, cores and riggers.... It took us a few to find them but once we did it was game on with lakers and Rainbows one after another, no monsters but just some great quality fish and just a lot of fun, we also caught a small mouth pushing six pounds as you will see in the video and pics and a Rainbow that hits the rigger that jumps about three times on camera..... We finished the day going 16 for 17 and keeping a couple Bows that probably wouldn't have made it for the grill .... Check out the Video, Heres the link... Mike
  3. Don't risk it was there yesterday... I did launch my boat there but hell of a time getting it back on the trailer , water level is about three foot .... Mike

  11. Put a last minute trip together with some guys from work that have been bugging me to go... We headed out of Watkins bout 345 and ran north to the hot spot!! Well we ran dipsys cores riggers and coppers and let me tell you the hot spot was not so hot right away... .... The fishing was tough only boating 4 small landlocks in the first 2 hours but about 7 oclock somebody hit a switch and it was a laker bonanza, we had doubles and triples go a few times no monsters but some quality fish and made me feel a lot better that the guys got to get into a few .. We ended up 11 for 13 ..... Lakers were smoking the Big Weenie Iron Duke and Seneca Ghost fly's trolled behind water melon and white on white crush glow spin doctors.... Mike

  17. Decided to go out on a Sunday afternoon-evening troll.... We ran north out of Watkins a long ways and setup shop in an area Ive been working for the last month and when we got there the bait and fish didn't let us down.... We ran riggers, cores, and coppers looking to focus our attention on getting into a big bow or brown... We fished in 80 to 230 fow focusing most of our lures in or just above or below the thermacline.. We caught a bunch of 2-3 lb browns, bows and salmon and a 4 lb laker ... Grand slam !! And if we weren't already happy with our days fishing the rigger takes a smashing whack !!! and here is the the video and pics .... Listen to the first part of the video to here this bow on his second drag screaming run , couldn't get the camera rolling in time to get the first one... Most acrobatic and reel rippin bow Ive ever seen... Mike

  19. Well said Hermit and Lakebound 88 .... Just because someone mentions a particular spot on the Fingers doesn't pinpoint the exact location, you are still gonna do a bit of work on your own to really locate the fish.... Im not gonna give you the exact gps coordinates but I will put u in the general area and tell you what there smacking.. Lol.. Mike [ Post made via Android ]
