  15. 2 rigger and 2 dipsey has been all we need this year. We have a small boat. When it is slow we let out the copper down the chute. This is what happens when a salmon hit a dipsey and takes it into the copper and then lets go. 1/2 hr later of untwisting in the drive way, i still cut 40’ of copper off. Just think about a ff twisting up another line even if each rod is being reeled in. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  17. Click on the map anywhere in the lake. Once it refreshes go to hourly weather graph on your phone or click the graph under the map on a computer. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. this is from NOAA for the open lake near Wilson. NOAA 1' = 2' waves to me.
  19. I think NOAA reads wave height 1/2 of what we think or heigh from mean/average flat level. Like if you were standing on a dock at water level. a NOAA 1 foot wave would hit your shine 1' high, then the trough would be 1' below the dock. we wold call that 2 footers. not totally sure about the above but NOAA 1ft can be hell for 16' boat and very dangerous if you need to get off the lake quick or it gets worse quickly. I like wind <10mph and less than NOAA 1ft. <5mph east or north. this is for 12-24 hrs before too.
  20. Ive been putting off my 1976 16 starcraft Jupiter transom. Looks very similar. Keep the posts going. Did you look into not cutting the top plate off? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United

  22. If you can get out just before sun rise your lines probably wont be in the water long enough for fleas. We were 2 for 4 by 5:40am last sat. The inside afternoon bite has been much slower for us. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. 1 for 3. one teen salmon 180-220 fow was best (fished 70-280) cold water was down 70-80' with a good break from 60 to 50ºF with in 10' low number of marks and a few bait pods (or fleas?) large rollers made it extra fun tons of fleas and fleaflicker got loaded up lots of drift wood all over on the ride in. Be careful.
