I use offshores and i use an or16 to keep boards online letting the front release so they don't pull to bad after fish is on but letting them slide would do. I hate when they come off. I had the same thing happen two years ago in close setting a j plug. I was just putting it in the release and wack, I was using a dipsy rod with spider wire it made a heck of a cut in my finger. I thought I snagged up till it ran scared me ha ha. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

its a tough bite had a hook up as I set the third line saturday am without another release but it was a nice 12lb steelhead . hopefully the winds and rain subside and we get some real catching in and stop with just fishing. i know 1 buddy out today and as of 9 one laker . oh yeah my hookup was an ice frog 30' down 40 back on the rigger.
