I heard of the same thing today in Hamlin. Buck and doe found with no visible issues. DEC took both deer, if I hear anything I will post it. -
Doing the annual "drive" tomorrow. Me and my two sons as well as my lease partner and a buddy of his. Been a slow year so hopefully we will get some shooting. Pic is from two years ago, one boy got the buck, the other the two does on a double. Was a great day. -

Hard to judge by a pic but it looks like it has a good chest and shoulders. Looks like a nice one to me. Killing him should give me a better look.

Did you see the one of the cat following the buck? A buddy of mine swore it was in the southern tier on a friend of his property. I told him as cool as it was that there was a cat in the area that it was even cooler that he had mule deer on his property.
