    Break out the wallet and buy every color in the spectrum and then every size you can imagine. Spoons, flies, flashers, peanuts and don't forget stick baits, not to mention rods reels ect.. or just charter for the next ten years it would be cheaper!     The lake has been messed up for temp. The fish have been off and unpredictable. Few more degrees and the bait will set up and game on! Find the right spot for temp and you will catch a pile. When the bait is super shallow the fish are easy to spook especially with the clear water kinda like how Brown fishing on Ontario gets bad without muddy water. Cannot wait to get back out...     Set out at 7 am in hopes of hooking up with an eye or two, well after a few hang ups and a very blank screen I decided to just fish for trout. No sooner than pulling into 130' the seven color with a reef runner buries 7.5lb Laker. Released her thinking she was too big for the grill. Ended up missing most of the early bite, marked lots of big fish very deep, bait too. Found some bait and worked the area for a while, landed one nice brown and three Lakers. Dropped two other crazy browns behind the boat... Missed being out for the Laker Derby but got a nice fix and dinner for a few friends. Also picked up a 2lb ball and six alpena diamonds with tons of swivels. If you can identify the alpena colors (custom painted many years ago) I left the ball at the south shore marina. lol!     IMO snubbers help to do two things, one they keep your dipsy from spinning, two they take the "shock hook tear out" from happening on wire dipsy rods, ( no stretch).     I fell in love with a few huge marks that I found a little North of Taughanock , never left that area to find active fish. The one I did catch had only one sculpin in its stomach. Knew my luck was going to be bad when my buddy had his car broken into they got his wife's purse. Friggen thieves.... so it was me solo all weekend.     Congratulations to winners, guess I fished the wrong area, marked some huge fish couldn't get a bite all day! Slow, fast in between, nothing, spoons, flasher fly, apex, kwikfish, Suttons, FLT, great Lakes lures, colors, you name it, didn't run cow bells n peanuts maybe should have... Fish I marked came either over deep water or from 175 to 200. The fog this am was super thick then right to high sun with no wind. Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Saturday was tough to say the least! Fished North of Myers if there was a constant temp I didn't find it low temp for morning was 39.9 high was 56 lots of bait deep! Back at it today, oh went 1 for2 on Lakers, sometimes you are the bug on the windshield...... Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
