The dual beam 83/200 has somewhat of a narrow cone. If you slow down the rigger balls will come into view. Blowback and cone of the sonar are why you won't see them. Remember that they really aren't as deep as shown on the graph when they blow back they loose depth. experiment in shallow water 50-100' run em into the bottom and take notes if you want true depths at your typical trolling speeds. Hope that makes sense. as for the different results most likely current especially in lake O Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I forgot that the one other lure that took a bow was the Carmel dolphin, cheaters on riggers were good to. Specific spot was a white barn structure about a mile south of the camp. Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Launch and go North hit 80-120' run 35, 50' riggers, purple, pink, orange flt alpha alewife , rainbow colored , orange with gold all took silver's for me Sunday, lost a huge bow on 50 rigger, ten color, seven color and five color all caught fish. Key for us was 3.0-3.3 sog, lots of turns too. Even caught Lakers at that speed. Go get em! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Mike you sure have that boat dialed in! Totally pro! Seneca really turned on for the FLTA some huge boxes. Congratulations to Ketchum, and his 32-4 Box! Seemed like the bait started to scatter a bit and the fishing was epic. I was scared after talking to a guy at Deans cove Saturday that said he put in two five hour trolls on Seneca without moving a rod.... Congratulations again on your place and keeping the points lead, see you at Cayuga! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

After reading these comments, I must chime in my two cents. I have met Justin not on his boat but in a different situation. He is one of the few guys out there that cares more about sharing what he has learned than hoarding a few secrets so that he can catch all the fish for himself. He cares about the area he hunts and fishes. In no way should he have to feel an ounce of guilt for charging a few bucks to put some guys on fish. He surely is not making a profit. Giving is much better than receiving, and keeping with the tradition of this site we share information about fishing here and I believe Justin is a man of great character and a true sportsman that gets the details of fishing and hunting right. Not all of us have time to do that. Thus we owe him for all the info he shares. Thanks Justin! Sent from my C771 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
