  6. Got a small one an hour ago, green challenger just passing the inlet headed east. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  8. Tough evening on the water, and a bit windy when we first got out. 8-20 ftw. Headed west, we marked fish and had one release. Made 4 passes around and by the inlet marking tons of fish but had no takers. At this point it was 745pm and very calm, no luck in the lake we pulled everything in and headed back. No other boats around or Fishermen on the piers we decided to try our last hope, run 2 lines through the inlet in hopes not to get our first skunk of the season. Left one planer out 9 feet, and ran a blue/silver challenger 80 ft back and straight lined a crocodile 50 ft back. Boom first steelhead of the season, and that was it. 6th trip out this season and found them each time. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Left launch at 530pm headed east, water quickly declinined in temperature so we decided to head west and hug the shore 8 to 12 ftw. The theme was Green, anything green was taking fish, stick and spoons. No action on the riggers. Green spotted challenger, silver chartreuse spoon, green chartreuse spoon, and had one on silver and blue spoon. Largest fish came in on chartreuse and green spoon. We we're on land by 730pm and went 5 for 6. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Ditto, we were in the channel when fireman's boat was heading out.
  11. I was on the other 17 foot boat (2 guys) that was out that morning, we where down by holt rd when it switched. Scariest 45 minute boat ride back ever. The guy that was out solo ditched up 4 mile creek next to hedges. 34 degree air, and 39 degree water, not a good mix to be soaked to the bone in. We went 3 for 4 from 7-9 and also hooked up as the hail came down trying to get lines in.
  12. Any captains in the area interested in selling me some salmon skeins? PM me please and thank you! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I think we followed you out, managed to get one good sized Laker in 38 ftw down 25, surface temperature 50℉. Only fish all night, but we were marking lots of fish between 38-44 ftw Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. Thought so, thanks for confirming. Fish was released, if it didn't have a huge Lamp Ray wound on the other side it would have been dinner! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. How about the Rochester piers?? Any luck on them during the evening? I've been out trolling during then with good success but haven't tried from shore yet.

  18. Thank you very much for the help and info! Is it more rare to catch hatchery fish? It seems like I'm only catching wild trout, not that it's a bad thing!! Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Lake Ontario United mobile app
