  1. We don't have many blowoff days in our 18 ft alumacraft...usually if charters can go out we're able to without worry of clients and seasickness....winds across the lake( west sw nw) over 20 might want to call a local tackle shop to save a drive if that's a worry...otherwise trolling slowly out isn't usually an issue it's the ride in
  2. Fished Mexico today, put a couple lakers in the boat in 100 fow...people are killing them there it sounds. Quickly switched up to go for kings went 2 for 3. Decent 12 lber came 225 on dipsy over about 300 ft of water...nothing all too promising but nice to see a king
  3. Very don't waste your time in 15 to 25 ft...only fish 2 days ago was a mooneye lol
  4. Thanks for all the input guys, definitely feel confident that this will be good now just a matter of rationalizing spending the money and pulling the trigger. Dj we have an 03 merc 2 stroke I believe we can run from the gas line?
  5. Thinking about getting a kicker for our 18 ft alumacraft. Thinking 8 hp found them on eBay for 1600 new in box shipped. Seems like a good deal anyone use one and have any input? Would 8 do the the trick boats pry 2500 lbs
  6. Certified marine in Kingston there's a super 8 just a few miles away and tons of places to eat around too. Ice and cleaning station at the dock there too. We trolled 18 rap alas a lot of people still fishing too
  7. Anyone with a trailer able boat who hasn't tried for stripers I would recommend. We got about 10 fishin 2 days most getting released. Normally fish lake o but nice change of pace and can't complain about the fillets.
  8. Not good to hear hope things change quick. Our first trip got 9 fish limit in 2 hours and has gone downhill since. Need some consistent west wind.
  9. Biggest thing get water temp at lures, if u don't have a probe ask on radio. I've wasted many hours trolling too warm of water with no chance before owning one. Some days warm water is still down 100ft. But I also like throwing an NBK in stingray down for browns and mountain dew flasher fly
  10. is this boat still available/where is it located
