  1. Nothing beats the sense of accomplishment in my opinion. Managing the chaos all by yourself is where it's at. Just be careful man and consider a ripcord and/or jacket. You never know when that rogue wave or boat or fish reach might cause you to lose your balance. Don't mean to be a downer. Sean Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Amen to that. Lot of good people putting their lives on the line out there. Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. My buddy took my boat out yesterday with a friend from work and his son out of Pine Grove. Took 2 BTs, both on Mags and a decent King on a green ladder back spinny/fly on a rigger parked at 90' over 130'. Beyond that a couple rigger knock offs is all. He fished first light til noon. Temps still pretty deep. It was the boy's first ever king so watching him rip the rigger out to 500' was quite a thrill! Sean Sent from my XT1650 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  12. I've trolled a good bit for splake in the ADKs, but usually Limekiln up in Inlet. Michigan Stinger scorpions have always produced best for me. Usually in "natural" colors, gold silver copper and sometimes with some chartreuse patterns. Lightweight dipsey or Chinook diver setups usually outfish riggers. Depending on time of year 25-30' down is usually the ticket as I see them suspended more than pinned to the bottom. Colors can be fantastic on them. Great looking hybrid fish. Good luck.
