I have been getting them in Mexico Bay on spoons 21 feet down in 28 to 45 fow. Using riggers and 4 colors of lead core. I am sure its simular out there. Watermelon has been the hot color for me.

I buy gluv-it for my drift boat from them and I have bought multiple other items there. They have always been good to me.

Old Chicken Wing Michigan stinger on 4 color lead core took 2 of them. The other came off the rigger on a Watermelon spoon. Unsure of the make of that one.
Got out this morning for a couple hours out of Mexico Point. Had lots of fish on the graph in the 30 fow range. Managed to get 3 Browns to the boat. 2 of which where very nice.

I just bought a Sea Nymph Great Lakes Special 195 and love it. It trolls very well and trailers very easy. I fish a lot of smaller waters along with LO so I needed something that would do both and this boat does exactly what I wanted it to do. I don't know how new or how much money you are looking to spend but I have also spent a good deal of time on my friends Lund both on LO and Onieda and it hadles both extremely well also. I am unsure of the model of his boat. If you are going to be trailering those would be my recommendations.
I fished Mexico Bay yesterday for smallies and only got one small one. We had been doing well the past week out there and it seemed as if they where all the sudden gone. I am thinking it has to do with recent weather. We did manage to catch a 5 pound and a 6 pound brown in 15 to 20 feet of water though.

Fished from 8:30 to 12 this morning. Boated 13 keepers and one short. All came on crawlers. It was my first good morning out there as I am new to the lake. I am hooked for sure.

Welcome to the site. I am new on here myself but so far I think this is the best fishing site on the net. The people are very helpful.

Duck bay and guffins bay are excellent for bass. If you are launching at the state launch make sure you watch for the rock pile on the right headed towards duck bay. I have never fished the walleyes up there but I have heard around cherry island is good. We do well for perch in the winter on johnsons shoal too. Hope this helps. Good luck.

P Line Halo, Gamma or Rio are the way to go for fluoro. When I am guiding on the Salmon River these are all I will use.

He is right run out to 80 or 100 feet troll towards the plant. Keep moving deeper until you find fish. I live in the same area if you are ever in need of someone to fish with.

I just realized I never introduced myself. I am Guide Wayneo. I guide on the Salmon and Black rivers along with the Tug Hill trout streams. I recently sold my bass boat and boat a Sea Nymph GLS 195 so I could get back into fishing Ontario. I haven't fished the lake other than from my drift boat in the past 15 years. I worked on few charter boats back then but things are much different now and I have a lot to learn. I see that there are plent of people willing to help out on here. Thanks in advance.
