back it out and make sure the spool and the washers are all sitting flat against each other, sometimes they dont seat properly. If that doesnt work you may need new disc
starting out, try and give yourself some extra space. id let the board out 75 feet or so, and run one line almost all the way out to the board, and the other about half way out. Make sure whichever line is running deeper/shorter is inside the shallower/longer line to avoid tangles on strikes. Once you get the hang of it, you can bump the boards out farther and get more lines out with confidence. We run 4 a side for our brown spread without any issues.
Also, stay away from the cheap stick style releases and get some of the amish outfitter or offshore planer clips, way less tangles
I have the same boat, there is a dog house, makes a nice table for lure boxes, rigging ,etc. Plenty of room behind it and down the sides for fighting multiple fish
I know it's been asked 100 times but I can't search topics currently, does anyone know the rope lengths for otters when you install half keels? I think it's 8 1/2 and 14 1/2 but if anyone knows I'd appreciate it
Thanks

Some guys run a dedicated rigger for the probe, I do it during tourneys when I can use all 4 riggers bc of rod restrictions to find the temps. In a 6 rod spread you'll likely be better off clipping it in in between the downrigger weight and the release. The cable goes below the probe and attaches to the weight. The idea being that if u hit a snag it will rip off the weight, but not the probe.
Goodluck your fishing is gonna get a lot better.
