New site going live in a day or so. I just emailed him with an order about 20 minutes ago. FLtackle@gmail.com if you need something before the site is up
Just picked up a diawa seagate 60 and a penn squall 50l for a 450 and 550 copper respectively. both were reasonably priced(about 150 each). and plenty of space for lots of line. if your adamant about the extra backing, id say the squall 50, as it has the bigger capacity(but slower retrieve)
Do you have a shutoff valve for each motor? Ihad a problem with my kicker doin the same thing. i realized the kicker was ikely losing pressure because of the air leaking in from the carbs on the big motor. Putting in a 3 way shutoff switch has since solved the problem
That was me. I appreciate the apology. I have seen you out there before and knew you to be a good charter capt. I figured there was no way that it was deliberate, which is why I didn't run on here to start trash talking or anything.
Again I appreciate it and no hard feelings. We did double right after you went by so it was forgotten pretty quick!

I have had a camp on Raquette all my life, and have been fishing it since i was about 4. There is a some decent lakers and brookies on the north end of the lake, but will be tough to get to with a canoe. Your best bet would be down the south inlet, working the weed edges for bass/trout/perch or just outside of it around the weedbeds at dusk for bass. If you need any more info PM me.
Bowfin, or ling if your fishing oneida. We get them through the ice pretty regularly on oneida

Was out today working the 80-150 water in front of the nuke plant. Slow bite. Fish are very spread out. 41 degree water down 50 feet so everything was high

Hey guys, just picked up a fish hawk x4, going to mount it this weekend. For the Triducer would you recommend Installing it:
1 - In between my kicker and main outboard( right side of kicker) or
2- a few inches away from my lowrance 83/200 transducer.
Fish hawks manual says to keep it away from both of these, which isn't possible. I think the x4 runs at a 70 hkZ frequency
Anyone whose done one care to chime in?
Thanks and Goodluck this weekend
Tight lines
Jay

That fog was ridiculous this am. I was navigating almost solely off my plotter aside from watching for other boats all morning. We did 5 teener kings fishing a little deeper than you guys.
Goodluck this weekend

Thanks. I didn't keep it obviously, bc the season is closed. I like to let the big ones go anywAy, and fill the freezer with the oneida lake ones

Thanks for the tip. We never got to the perch fishing today, trolled from 7-12 with my fishing buddy and my wife and his girlfriend. Went 3-3 on two lakers and a big eye. My wife's biggest walleye to date. Most of the action in top 20ft of water column.
