9r got in at 0600 settled in , at 6:30 passed a 3 year old 6 and with it a really nice 8 broke tine , not shooting a deer on my first sit unless it's really nice, it was a perfect start to my morning then a half hr later this stud appeared same track as others 20 yards under me . Let it fly when he gave me the opportunity I felt my shot was liver not knowing in the heat of the moment that he was cornering more away the shot was perfect.. I gave him almost two hours got out and started on good blood followed him twords camp lost blood all this time thinking liver back ,,, so I backed out not knowing he was 20 feet from me dead.... call the dogs in just to be safe . It was a short 200 yard track for Arial the blood hound . Thank to Gator for dropping walleye on his plate and helping me get him out... great day to be alive .
