    We tried to hold 2.2-2.3 on the fish hawk on Saturday. Sunday we noticed with that east wind that we started getting more bites between 1.9 and 2.0 on the downspeed. Not sure if the wind had something to do with it or not. I thought maybe the fish were going to be a little negative but our numbers did not support that.

    Didn't get our first fish until 830 Sunday morning but after that it was a steady pick throughout the rest of the day.

    We were definitely bummed out that the derby wasn't going on for sure. That fish would have been upper 30's in late August if not higher.

    Another outstanding trip to Olcott. 17-24 first day and 20 for 24 second day. Highlight of the trip was first fish of the trip being a 32 lb king with one happy 13 year old grinning ear to ear!!!

    Anybody have an idea on current prices to rent a slip for the year at wrights landing?
