Yes. They seem to be healthy. A little football shaped. Just have to find the bigger ones. It was fun though. Had a good time with my friend. He's been a little down lately. Just needed to spend some time with him. Didn't matter what we caught. Life is short, have fun. Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Started at Deans Cove around dawn. Fished south for half the morning and then back north. Caught 11 fish. 1 Laker and 10 LL's. Big is salmon was 20in. Had a good time, with 2 doubles on 70' rigger w/ slider. Lake was nice with very little weeds and just remnants of fleas. Orange, green and Sutton spoons. 70 rigger w/ slider was best also 10 color and 8 color core. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Feel like changing lakes for a weekend. Haven't fished Cayuga this year. Just wondering how bad weeds are? Where are the least if they are bad? Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Nice kicker Mike. Let me know if you need someone to fish with this week. I have some free days. Lol. I've had a blast on the lake this year. Thanks to much of your wisdom. I'm a lot better fisherman than earlier in the year. Thanks again Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Started out about 7am. Ran south till we were even with barge. Set up there and headed north. Marked alot of fish from 30' to 100' in 110-160fow. Ran 4 dipsey's, all with spoons at 60'/70'/80'/100'. Also 2 riggers with fixed sliders at 80'/90' and 70'/80'. We get almost to sampson and first fish hits 80/90 rigger. Get it to boat and realize it's a double on one rod. Then 70/80 rigger goes. Followed by 70' dipsey, then 100' and 80' and 60'. It was crazy. When it was all over, 6 rod were in boat and nothing left in water. 7 fish in less than 10 minute's(1LL, 1Bow, 5 lakers). Went 10 for 12 and heading in at 11am. Not alot of size. Used 2 and 3 inch spoons. Sutton, oranges and greens worked. Weeds are a little better (north of sampson was the worst). Fleas are almost gone. Just a very little. Everyone have a good weekend of fishing. Wind looks calm. Go get them. Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

My dad and I headed out at dawn. Trolled north and had first Laker in boat fast. Caught on rigger slider with Chicken Feed. Then nothing for 4 hours. Now we're headed south. Rigger fires and no one home. Before I could get it back in the water. The wire gets hammered. My dad grabs rod and said it's feels heavy. 10 min later it was in the net. Just get it in the cooler and bam. Another wire got crushed. This one put up a nice fight for my. Netted and in cooler. We decided that was good and pulled everything in at 11:30. Not many but good size. 4lb 11oz, 5lb 14oz and a 6lb 6oz. Weeds everywhere and alot of fleas. But stick with it, the fish are there. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Dreamweaver makes nice swivel clips that work great for dipseys. Also a drop of epoxy or super glue on the knot, works good to keep knot from loosening up. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

The fishing was awesome Saturday. Non stop fish until we left at noon. Through many small keepers back. But finished with 7 nice lakers in cooler. 5 of the 7 were 25 to 28ins. My high school buddy said this was one of the best times fishing he's had. You'd think he would have been smiling in the pic. Lol Brent Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Copper shouldn't do that. At most you should have to wiggle rod a little to get leader/copper knot out through eyes. What are you running on the copper? A flasher may put twist in copper without good swivel clip. Also keep thump on spoon. It will back lash a little until you get a little out and some weight is pulling. I would remove the swivel on your coppers and go with an Albright knot. Use for both backer to copper and copper to leader. Goes out rod eyes really well. Sounds like the swivel in and out is the problem. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
