    I would delay that trip- no reports of consistent salmon fishing off olcott. 650'? 5-6 miles? Steelhead are everywhere off shore but unless people are keeping extremely quiet, no word has reached these ears of at very least good salmon fishing. I live on the lake and I can't believe how few boats go out each day here- 4 trailers in Wilson last Saturday- that should tell you what's up- I'm no pro but the fishing this year s&$cks!     Fished olcott/ Wilson this morning-forgot my phone-440' of water top 50'- steelhead city! Boated 10 hooked like 20. Pinks and oranges off riggers and 110 wire. Good to be back on the O.     Cheers to you mostlymuskie. Someone has to say something to these ignorant f&$@s. Who the hell do these people think they are- they will wait just like everyone else. I have calmed down quite a bit the older I get but when I was younger I was the guy who would throw down with these a holes. I don't condone it necessarily but it does get the point across to people who think they can do whatever they want with no repercussions- if everyone who follows the rules and is courteous and respectful would open there mouth just maybe we can take care of it on our own Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Fished 50' water off wind mills- boxed 6, threw back 2 -15"ers. All on harnesses- fire tiger- pink/ yellow- pink/ black. 4 color took most-Total cluster &$!@ pulling boat out of SBH- waited almost an hour- the back up was unreal! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    I have been doing the walleye thing myself and have not fished the O but I live along the lake in Wilson. I see the charters leaving every morning and they are going deep( a speck on the horizon if I can see them at all). It is blowing East pretty good right now which is never good for the fishing.     I'm not hearing too much- I see boats out on the horizon every morning- 300'+. How they are doing?-no idea. I do the walleye thing a couple times a year. I can get salmon in my backyard whenever I want ( at least try) but walleye now that is a treat for me- just can't beat it on the table- good luck in the tournament- I'll be on here for the next few days while fishing Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
