  2. I went shed hunting on Sunday- pulled my card when I got there and 7 of 8 bucks on camera still had antlers. I did manage to find this- a miracle the mice didn't destroy it.

Got 11 reels back today- quick turn around- the reels are like new- total rebuild on my original 2 Penn 320's I bought in 1990- figured they were smoked- now it's like they are right out of the box again- great price and awesome discount on the large number of reels I sent- If you are thinking about it - send them now- well worth it!!!!![emoji106][emoji106]

  7. I'm sending 10 reels to them this week- sent a email on Sunday and Andy emailed me back today- Read about them on this site and finally got around to doing it- Sounds like I made the right choice.

  9. My grandfather liked the whistlers too, God rest his soul. I hear ya on the long tails - I had them made into pepper sticks a few years ago after trying to roast one. The sticks were good, the roast one couldn't get thrown out quick enough. Good luck the rest of the season-
  10. Nice job! Question-are you really eating merg and whistler? If so how do you make them even semi edible? I hunt the west end of Ontario and won't waste my time in my blind this year cuz that's all that's flying to date- I refuse to kill anything that I don't eat, not judging just very curious

  16. Started in 460' and worked out to line until 1:30- struggled!-caught a couple slim steelhead and a king around 18#. Wire dipsey green dolphin mag on king- 2 set 150. Rigger70 down took all steelies spin/fly. Got into the little kings on sliders and ended up taking them off instead of killing them.   21. . Found a nice pile of fleas down deep off Wilson in 350'. Hooked 2 screamers in first hour-90' on rigger. Rod eye jammed up During both fights- lost both when they ran at us while eye was jammed. My bad was still running 20#.   22. 7/23- Pretty good chop-headed out to the fence and set up by 7:30. Incredible bite- took a two man limit by 11:30. Down rigger bite on bottom with meat- blue/black and watermelon took most. 4 and 5 color took rest. 1.7 at the ball- 7/24- ran to same place as yesterday- got set up by 7:00- took 3 in the first hour- 5 color and riggers- meat- purple black and nuclear green. caught a 16" we released and lost one at the net the rest of the day- played with speed all day-pulled rods at 1:30.
