  1. 😊. I am not giving legal advice, just stating my opinion. BTW. I am well aware where the border line is located, i was speaking generally.
  2. I still think it only applies to when you are landing. I.e. How are they going to deny you entry if you float across an imaginary line in the middle of the river? And, if you are on the water and do not touch land or anchor, you do not have to call. Will see what happens this weekend, i could be proven wrong 😊. I thought i was wrong once but i was mistaken, as they say, eh? The other issue is, it depends on what agency you talk to in Canada, like here in the states, there are inconsistencies.
  3. Kevin , i posted the same question On the qunite web site. Not ifficial, but opinion seemed to be that uf you can get your boat in the water, all their launches are closed, you can fish
  4. 😊 Glad I never did anything like this 😉😉
  5. Awww. Come on Kevin, you know you cant just sit at home. I imagine mr walleye is going nuts without opening weekend plans
  6. I heard launch at lisbon was closed the other day.
  7. From what i have been reading, the use of docks is included in the ban. I rent a dick from a private individual, am i banned from using the dock?
  8. And yet DEC seems to encourage fishing with their weekly report and yet in the same breth they are saying all DEC boat launches are closed through 4/29
  9. Did DEC have anything to say at their Clayton meeting regarding where "they" think they are coming from? There has always been a population of walleye in the river. Are more people actually targeting them thus more number showing up? Techniques have changed? Almost any point along the river, american or canadian side, or shoal along the channel, have walleye present. I have heard tales for years of the number of walleye seen by divers but they were mostly being caught by bass fisherman by accident, not specifically targeted. There must be some areas that they gather to spawn along the river but no one is talking .
  10. Leach Lake filet knife if you can find one. Gave one to a guide friend of mine two years ago and he uses it for his shore dinners, told me he has yet to have to sharpen
