Bite was hot this morning out front of braddocks Fished 930 till 11. Found a patch of water that looked good and it was. Went 4 for 6 , couple other short hits that never came back. All on bayrats , Goby took all but 1.

My buddy's got a 17 or 18 ft sea nymph we went out in . Sunday we were in a bass boat tolling lol. The week before I was in the kayak .

My kayak is a 14 foot predator takes waves good normally the wind takes me out before the waves tho.

Went east out of the bay. Fished from 4 to 6 . We went 3 for 3 all browns. 1 on a spoon , 2 on bayrats. 2 good fish 1 little guy.

Was going to perch fish but the bay was a little cold with the morning south wind . Lucky I had 2 bayrats on me so we decided to troll a couple hours picked up 3 browns . Buddy's kid had a blast reeling them in. Then back in for perch, beautiful day lots of boats enjoying it [emoji12].

I also used to run 2 rods with 80’ leads but after the first hook up my approach changed....my yak uses paddles, no pedals

I have to paddle.... [emoji19]. When I hook up with a fish I reel in my other rod and hope the fish stays pinned. To much can happen if you don't.

I also keep a extra paddle in my kayak. You never know when your paddle is off the leash or the wind takes it off the kayak , might need a back up.

Private got permission from homeowner. Knock on a door and some beer works most of the time. Most of the shoreline is the same for the most part. I drive till I see the water I want to fish or to get away from the waves/wind.

Kayak shakedown today, fished from 11 to 1215. I got a new st croix 8.6ft with a pflueger spoiled up with 8 lb power pro to 8lb floro tipped with a Esmeralda Bay rat. Went two for two on browns. Some good colored water but the wind was too much to keep a good line. Lake water is 3 foot lower than last year. Trolling guys watch out for the rocks

Fished the south end this morning for a hour . Once the sun came out I was out. I probably could have fished for a bit if it did come out. I had a spud and was checking as I was fishing. Had a good bite going to. Took a pic of what candle stick looks like for people that might not know. This is 10in of ice with 1 hit. Time to put the gear away!!

Fished honeoye this morning , got some nice gills. Saw a 4 wheeler go off south end and went north..... SMH . Yeah the ice is thick but the top 4in was horrible when I left at 1015.

When braddocks first froze this year lots of sand blew off the point on to the ice, so it was dirty ice. With this sun that ice is wasn't going to last long . SMH

Fished honeoye today . Nothing to write home about but couple nice gills and 1 unlucky crappie. Had to sort through to get the bigger ones. Ice is slick , 8 to 10in mix .

4 of us went silver today same spot as yesterday. We ran 28 flags , 4 pike landed , couple hit and drops. Nothing of any size 22 to 25in.

Hit silver today fished from 130 to 4. The wife went 1 for 1 . I went 2 for 2. Buddy went 1 for 3 , I did catch 1 of mine in his tip-up lol.

Bring creepers. Very slick and uneven . I fished the south end again this morning. I didn't measure but I would say 9 plus every hole I fished . Fishing was slow for me today.

Nothing what is was guys!!! The lake is dead to what is was 15 years ago . Triple digit days are gone . Don't get me wrong I'll take 60 in 2 trips. [emoji1787] . Lots of good info on alewife population . Which answers alot of my questions as to why the perch guys are doing more Lakers than 15 years ago. Deep water guys numbers went down in the past 4 years cuz the schools are searching for perch. Wonder if the perch will take a hit years to come if not already ?

Went to honeoye this morning . Fishing was pretty good couldn't believe there was nobody else there till about 9. Walk was ok with the jet sled not sure how the shanty would be.

Tough day was 0 for 3 with 3 of us. fished from 49 to 30'. Never marked more than 4 fish. Boat next time. That was on keuka lake south of the water plant. 4" of good ice.

That's the new normal . Wonder how long till the lake makes a come back.

Had a awesome day of fishing today . Weather was mint and the fish were biting good . My niece caught a nice one, couple of the other kids got some as well. By far the best landscape to look at while ice fishing !!!

Hit lewis point yesterday for a couple hours on my way to lake George. Fished from 1 to 3pm. Got a couple nice perch .
This morning at LG it was slow for lakers but had a awesome time for the ones that decided to bite. Hopefully tomorrow is better
