Nice pintail !! Got out this morning with a buddy on some public , lots of mallards around . We got a bonus widgeon . Some divers also but they didn't want nothing to do with us. Except the two redheads that flew by the decoys and my buddy decided the bird watch while I was on the phone. [emoji23]

Thanks for the detail information " Sandwick 50 " ! I have no information on private individuals releasing geese in Ontario : The urban and farm nuisance was substantial seeing a school yard covered in goose excrement , farmers having their new corn torn up by flocks of goose . Some birds were live trapped and located to rural areas of Ontario ! The apparent assumption would be that they would take up residence not clear to me !
We hunt cull coyotes on a regular basis and find clear evidence of coyotes destroying goose nests ! 
I would add posts like " bla bla " contribute nothing to the web site !

Show us, ALL the bands you shoot in September, not just AP, but local bands too.

Did the solo mallard hunt this morning , first pair at first light. Took longer to set and pickup decoys than the hunt . Don't get any better !!

I don't care about nesting numbers...... That way to survey is the problem.

I look at the number of birds that move thru and I see them numbers.... Real numbers .

If goose numbers were that bad I think Canada would change their limit to 1 not ( 3 ) lmfao .

You can shoot more than me but we're shooting at the same birds..... Think about it..[emoji848]

Lack of knowledge at the higher-ups !!!! Just some stupid people all around ..... I'll call it how I see it .... Dates and limits have been messed up ever since they opened goose season back up from when it was closed 20 plus years ago. How can you change bag limit every couple years and then all of a sudden drop down to one....... Stupid people.

Just drove by Russell station somebody has three dozen decoys and a spinwing all set up mint right where you normally see all the ducks hanging out right off the parking lot lmfao . Somebody set up off edgemere on Long pond right over the guardrail. Same in front of crescent Beach hotel just throw the decoys over the guardrail call it a day....... Desperate times for desperate measures absolute pathetic hunters.

Back on a solo public marsh hunt this morning . Yesterday scouting I saw some birds and decided to hunt them . Got a solo drake , then a flock came in and got another. Love hunting in the snow for mallards!!

Not to bad , did have 2 bad days last week tho. I'll up date..... saw 2 ducks after legal 1 of days and saw 1 duck the next day. I think that's when we had that north wind first come down and push some birds out . Now some more are showing up I hope. Going to scout out stuff in a couple minutes.

Great morning !!! Had a pair land 1 min early but stayed to late and i water swatted them as my buddy got 1 out of a small flock that was coming in . Then a group of 3 came in and he got a drake . Off to DD for coffee. Duck was banded in talbot county , maryland 12/21/16. weird date to band birds but

Longsurs, This was not meant as a knock, you certainly have the skills.I understand quick hunts and getting the dogs involved. More about ****ing about limits,I have been there!  Both hunters and fishermen, progress in stages,learning, early sucsess, sucsess, numbers, details.   Kill whatever you like!  And, support local Duck clubs.

Why not,shoot only dakes! The brown ones lay eggs, a drake only limit make for a better picture. 
You'll learn.

Got some blacks ducks on some backwater. Couple Mallards flying but must be a feed near by.

Also had a owl come down and smash my decoy then sit on a log next to it for a couple seconds then flew away. Cool stuff u see when u are out there.

I was doing a little scouting this morning and saw 2 cops with their lights on at a fishing Access "parking lot" . Didn't take long to see why cops are there...... Dumb azz guy setup decoys from the parking lot and decided to hunt from there. And the guy had a kayak "go pedal to the actual marsh in the back....."

Unbelievable I wanted to pull up and say something to them. as in "your the reason why areas get shut down" is from dumb asses like yourself. Next thing you know the state will turn it into a refuge or sanctuary of some sort.

Did a public mash hunt this morning , scouted it out yesterday mid-morning saw lots of mallards. Not complaining "[emoji23]" but this 2 mallard limit is stupid . Plenty of mallards to go around!!!

Lots of lakes have marshes to hunt. Check regs. Scout a morning there before you hunt to see where they are going , if any around and move on. Weather patterns push birds out and birds in .... Scouting will let u know ... The more you scout the more you will shoot . Look for loaf areas/ feed / roost. Know what u are hunting and u will be successful !! If no ducks are around don't expect much!! Anymore info pm me
