  1. Anybody able to give an update on the board?
  2. Looks like 4 places. Top laker 11, top brown 13. Forgot to take a pic.
  3. Good luck to every one fishing the derby today. Any fish on the board yet?
  4. They were sticking to 30lb flea flicker and 30 sea flea just as bad as 30lb big game on the 7th and 8th. Lead and copper not so bad just didnt catch anything on them.
  5. Did 3 saturday afternoon and 5 sunday morning. All meat and flasher fly. Couldn't buy a bite on a spoon. Fleas where fun.
  6. We have some hanging off the sides of our boat. They work awesome and suprisingly hold up really well. Put them on 2 yrs ago and still going. Helps to stabilize the boat in the wind too.
  7. Im usually between 1.5 to 2.4. Keep adjusting till they start hitting. There wasnt much current monday but I have seen days out there where it is more than 1mph difference. They seemed to like it faster around 2.2-2.4 monday.
  8. We did pretty good on lakers monday. 200' to 400' of water between taughannock and miliken. Did 10 over 7lbs with 2 10lbers. Lots of big marks at 150' down. Had a rigger parked there and two wire divers 180 to 200' out. Flasher/fly and flasher/spin-n-glos. All took fish. Copper and lead core with spoons did nothing.
  9. Another good day on Cayuga! Couldn't get the browns or silvers to play but the lakers did!
  10. 350' to 150' of water. Pretty much between Meyers and Miliken. Bites from 80' to 150' down. Flasher fly, spoons and flasher with spin-n-glows they didnt seem to care. Wire divers and riggers both catching.
  11. A quick afternoon shakedown, was beautiful on the water, good to be back. Fished 2pm to 530pm went 7 for 8 on the lakers. The little guy has become quite the rod hog!
  12. Anyone else having troubles with the app. It keeps kicking me out and wont let me sign in. Says network error. If I delete the app and reinstall it it lets me back in for a while. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. Its a Lowrance HDS 8. Works great. We love it, no problems. It is 3 or 4 seasons old now, not the touch model. It has the side imaging and down imaging but we never use it, I wouldn't pay for that again on a trolling boat unless we start chasing the browns and eyes in tight more than we do. The gps works well also. Its a great tool to have to be able to go right back over them and for getting back to port in fog. Just wish the radar wasnt so expensive to add on because that would be awesome in the fog. This boat is my dad's. I have a helix 5 on my boat which works good also. Just doesnt have the gps, got a good deal on it. I may buy a helix7 for that with the gps and run both. Using the 7 for the gps and the 5 for. fish finding. I havent used the helix on ontario yet, just cayuga. I dont see much difference between that and the lowrance on split screen other than a grand! Im sure the lowrance has way more features but I havent messed with it much. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. A little late on my report but Oswego was on fire last weekend! Had a blast with my dad, uncle and son! Non stop action saturday morning. We fished thursday, friday and saturday morning. The early and late bites were crazy! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Been draggin one since and nothing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. I had it 75 feet off the ball just above my meat rig on the otherside that was 25 off the ball. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. Caught a 27lber on a silverhorde aces high plug about a month ago out of Oswego. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. We fished there today too, boated 2, dropped 3. Marking them in spurts. They were there, just not very hungry. All came on meat rigs behind white glow pro troll fish and chip flasher on the wire divers. 120' to 250'. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. Definitely when they hit the surface. I would have them on for a couple minutes screamin the drag. They just would come unhooked. Most of them not even pulling. I run owner trebles on my meat rigs, some double, some with a single 4/0 gamy in front. They are sharp as hell. I have run double singles but havent hooked one on that yet. May have to rig more of my meat rigs like that next time. Its amazing how much the fish have changed in the last two weeks. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Any one else having trouble keeping these kings on the line! Dropped 6 or 7 in the last 2 days. Getting old quick. Mostly on the wire. Hooks are sharp. No snubbers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. I've been running Power Pro next to Suffix 832, both 30lb on my braid divers. The Suffix picks up way less fleas than the Power Pro. I think its due to the smoother texture. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Thats pretty awesome! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
