My dad, my sister and I went out looking for the big kings on Father's Day. Started slow in 170 foot of water with no bites, we moved out to 220-230 foot and I threw a frostbite spoon on the diver and within minutes took an 18 pound king. Shortly after my sister landed a 8 pound laker. Missed another hit on the dipsy. Then hit a steelhead on a moonshine geezer spoon but lost him after several jumps. All in all was a decent morning wish it was better. 6/19- me and dad raced out to beat the incoming storms after work and set up in 220-230 threw a new custom flasher made by asb tackle with a pro am fly and it took a huge rip. My dad was able to bring in his biggest salmon to date weighing 26 pounds. With the storm moving in we landed 2 more small salmon around 3 pounds. With time shortening and the storm moving in as we were picking rods a feisty 7 pound steelhead hit a NBK spoon on our rigger down 55 foot. Decided to hustle in after that. Was in front of olcott last night casting in 12 fow must've seen 35 to 50 kings surface, didn't manage to hook any but they are in tight at olcott Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Tried rolling faster today had one hit a flasher fly doing 2.9 at the ball before doing 2.2 2.3 I would get bites. Also I think rattle j plugs aggravate them Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Had our boat for about a month or two now and still have not hooked a mature on a rigger. Got some small skips on the riggers but right now the only thing that seems to be taking mature kings for us are the dipsy divers. Me and my buddy heading out this morning decided to grind it in front of olcott. Headed out set up in 90 fow with quite a few marks. Around 730 the dipsy took a huge rip set back at 203 with a green sparkler spiny with glo pro am fly. Landed this beaut 23 pounder. Went out of olcott this morning with my dad! Marked lots bait and some hooks here and there. Finally the dipsy took a big rip in 89 fow. Was able to land this beautiful 26 pound King on a Mountain Dew spiny/ glo pro am 160 back. What an experience to share with my dad. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
