Sold / Closed 22' Sea Nymph GLS

I have a 1988 22' Sea Nymph Great Lakes Special with a 140 hp Mercruiser in it for sale. Runs great. New throttle control/cables, new shift cable, new alternator, motor coupler, rebuilt carb, new marine radio, 2 year old high top canvas with back drop and curtains, a lowrance fish finder, 2 year old propeller, batteries. All aluminum boat even underneath the floor is aluminum with foam insulation don't have to worry about any rot with wood. Just painted the floor with tan grip paint so no slipping this weekend. Comes with a load rite trailer with new brakes and winch. Boat is very easy to trailer with it's light weight. Everything has been fixed within the past 3 years. Moved on to a bigger boat that couldn't pass up just as we got this one running where we wanted it. It is a great fishing boat. We caught a lot of salmon on it. Asking $3,500.00 Boat is between Newark and Lyons NY
  3. My dad and I left Arneys Sunday morning about 615 headed out of the channel set up in 70fow and worked north 85 to 125 was the best for us. We had the best day we have ever had, we went 13 for 19. All 4 year old except for 2 Jack's. Biggest was 25# smallest was 13# (besides 2 Jack's). Chinook divers(which a big guy broke our wire and took it along with our spoon* always have a spare!) with mag NKs took the majority of them SD/fly caught a few. We had the best luck running any type of spoon with black dots on them. With riggers we dropped back far up to 50 to 70ft at times just to get hit hits on them, that's where we lost most of our fish to much slack line. We called it an arm sore day about 1 and headed back in. Was a day for us to remember
  4. I'm interested if you send me a message I keep my boat at Arneys and can meet you there
  5. Thanks I'll have to give the black on black a try I think I have both in my box
  6. Yea I plan to try cut bait next time out. Just have to remember to get some first haha
  7. Sodus We fished Thursday morning out of the sodus channel till about noon. We had 2 kings on first one was a ripper could barely get pole out of the holder, fought it for about 15 min before coming to the surface and shook off. He hit a NBK spoon on wire, Chinook diver 275 feet out probably around 60 to 70 feet down. Other king fought for about 5 min and broke free on a big run. Smashed a blood orange NK spoon on a black dipsey diver mag lip straight down set at 150 feet. Probably about 60 feet or so down. Marked a ton of nice hooks between 140 and 180 fow and thats where we got our hits. Didn't see to much action on the back of boats for all the marked fish. Kings seemed to have no interest in ff combos which was strange. Might be a spoon game this summer or could be just that day never know lol
  8. If fish are also feeding hard on a school of bait, they charge through the school smacking them around tail slaps or whatever they do stunning and killing them.
  9. I seen the same thing out of sodus bay this past Thursday when the south wind came.
  10. I just run 30 pound main line in the summer/fall with a 8ft 20 or 25 pound flourocarbon leader
  11. What if the surface current is different than the current 40 feet down and different again 70 feet down . I've ran into that problem a lot. Very hard to make everything work when you are running different depths even with the fish hawks.
  12. The fleas this past year seem to fall off alot easier than the past like they are not bonded as well. Don't k ow if anyone else noticed that. I also seem to have better luck with just a prism dodger than spin doctors or flashers. Can't seem to get them to hit with those. I've tried all different leader lengths too. But dodger fly combo always got the bite for me.
  13. They should stop stocking the Genny with salmon since they snag out of it so much. Scratch that then all the snaggers will scatter to the little streams even more. Nobody thinks about the future. Just take take take
  14. I troll spring to fall and would also like to see the salmon steelhead have and chance to naturally spawn with the stocking cut down
  15. Every Russian I see is a snagger. Sorry for stereotyping. They have no consideration for anyone else trying to fish. I catch and release everything in the streams/creeks and I'm scared to put it back because I know they will snag it when it's tired and resting.
  16. They are the worst... they actually try and snag fish I'm hooked up with
  17. During the summer we hooked up with a bunch of Jacks. Everytime we went out of sodus. I think it will be decent in a couple years. They were hitting dodger fly rigs hard. Got more hits from them than anything for awhile
