SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

After a rough ride out to the 170FOW area we set up and trolled w/ the waves SW, less than 1' waves my a.. .The steelies were cooperating on the rigger set @ 38' w/ a NK28 spoon that had a copper back and red front w/ dots (sorry don't know name). Several hits came as soon as the rod was set, and one before. That set up took the first 6 fish and not a thing on the other rigger. About 7pm we put on a Stinger diehard on the "quite" rigger, set at 33, and all of a sudden that rigger took all the fish :o . All steelies were in the 4-8lb. range, and most put on a nice show :yes: , but also caused havoc with the dipsey lines a few times.

The kings came on Dalmation SD w/ mirage fly out 300 and a Hammer SD/ fly combo out 270, both on 3 setting. Both kings were in the 12-15lb. range and the boy had fun with them.

Besides a broken rod tip (thanks again son) it was a good evening on the water and fishing was good.

Did not mark much, but the fish were there.

Have a great weekend all, I'm working, but can't wait to get out there again.

GOOD LUCK!

LTtroller
