Fair Haven 4/17

Went out of Fair Haven on Friday Morning running boards and shallow riggers. Headed west and picked up a few small browns and a Laker turned and went east of the chute

and picked-up a small salmon. All but one fish came on rainbow pattern sticks, one on a forage minnow spoon. Trolling from 2.5 to 3 mph gps speed. Lots of boat out, It sounded like they where having a local derby. Did hear that it was a salmon leading.

Also heard Doublehaul on the radio, called him but no answer.

Yeah Friday was our last day. Just a 4 boat derby for a bunch of us from Western Mass. 15lb King took the prize. Lot of boats for sure but fishing held up. Great Weather too!

Good luck the rest of the way. See you next April.
