help with kicker motor steering

I just bought a 23 foot wellcraft with power steering. I have a 10 Hp kicker to hook up to it. Right now I have a bar to hook up both motors where you can steer from the wheel at the captains chair. I forgot the new boat has power steering and hard to turn when not running and will make it hard to turn the kicker when trolling.So before I drill my first hole IS there something the other boats use to use the kicker motor to make the steering more easy for trolling.?
