    I've run blacks for years , have a double pair one for spoons and one for dodger/flashers. You have to re-check them each time out because they get a bit sticky. You can crank them down and use a rubber band on they also. The Chamberlain releases sound like a good deal.

    I had the same thoughts BUT the only place you can use a cast net in freshwater in NY is the hudson river south of some town I forget the name now.....

    Fishing the finger lakes pays to do that adjustment ALL the time.... If you're not sure just drop one till it hits bottom and bring it back up......and repeat......

    If you still want to change to a non-auto stop switch...... Ok , so see how many prongs your switch has ( 3 or 4 ) then get the other one , wiring it is pretty basic . First unhook the circuit board in case it is OK. Then wire it up you can be wrong with wires only thing is you spool will go backwards so be ready for that.....

    Pap you can get diagrams off the fish 307 web site , I know quite a bit about the 10a nothing about the mag 20. On the 10a you can fix them with a switch when the auto stop circuit board is shot, Three prog and 4 prog switches. Maybe the same deal. I think when the auto stop board takes a dump you have to bring ball back up by hand....

    Thanks guys.... Bait is still spawning , I started after 9:30 am fished from 30' to 90' not much bait. Pissed around in 10' to 15' didn't have anything down a lot of stuff in tight....next time.

    Disconnect from motor if it still turns hard , do the above. If you have throlle control cables also , this would be a good time to replace them also.

    There are a lot of good spoon pads out there , the one with the bag is made by Hook-Um. This bag is great keeping your spoons out of the sun when done for the day but no reason you could not fine a bag to use on the other pads. http://www.hook-um.com/lure_products.html

    That's the way mine is now. I have a splitter around not sure how to hook it up. Are you also going to have a dash unit with transducer on transom ?

    Bill took that picture on Saturday no Park guy on the weekend. For the past 8 to 10 years when I was over there I did have to use my grain shovel to clean ramp , one of the Park guy took care of it daily during the week.......
