  11. I"ve got a '96- 3 cyl. Merc on a 17 footer.. Got to ask, what diameter and pitch prop are you using?? I've run a 17 pitch and could over rev the motor... buddy of mine tried a 21 pitch and couldn't get the rpms up. Stock for my 90hp. is a 19 pitch. Changing from 3 blade to 4 blade can make a difference too. Just my unprofessional $.02
  12. Speedy, The marine wiring website I posted above has a chart that tells what gauge wire is needed based on amp draw and length of wire run. Check out Blue Sea Systems for bus bars, terminal blocks, etc. I have used a lot of their products in my rig.

  19. I've had tracks on my aluminum Starcraft for years now... mounted with stainless screws, aluminum back up plates and nylock nuts. I would rethink the rivet idea. There's a lot of flex and stress on the tracks and gunnels, rivets may eventually loosen up from the movement, no way to tighten then back down. I've had to re-tighten mine every few years. Just offering my $.02 and experience.
