    Spun prop hub

    Thank You...
  3. Spun the hub on a 19p merc prop Friday going through the debris field off the Genny. Any ideas as to where I might get it re-hubbed??
  4. Made a set of boards in 1990. ...still going strong. Best $20 I ever spent for fishing gear.. Best advise I can give to someone making wood boards, before assembly, coat the boards with boiled lindseed oil. 3 coats, drying well between coats. They will never absorb water. Mine are made from #2 common pine .
  5. Hodges Marine Electronics is selling new Uniden Solara DSC radios for $90 no sales tax. Check their website. I just picked up a new Furuno FCV-620 sonar from them. Great customer service ! ( they will even buy your old electronics) http://www.hodgesmarine.com/VHF-SSB-Marine-Radios-s/5.htm
  6. I think they are sold...... I'm waiting for the cash to arrive. If not, you'll be the first to know.........
  7. What color is on the cup side ?

  12. BlueEye,.. Just watched the tribute. Thanks..............Jim
  13. I'm headed off to the Caribbean in a few weeks for some R&R and stumbled upon this fishing video....... it sure gets me in the mood...   Jim S. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/463441/girls_saltwater_fishing/
  14. Shellback, I saw the boat you're talking about. That boat has more hours on it than I'd like. I'm turning 50 in 2 weeks and wanted to get one more new rig as my "retirement boat", not that I'm ever going to stop working. I've caught lots of fish out of my 17ft. deep vee the last 10 years, and dropping 30K to get a foot wider and 3 feet longer didn't make much sense to me. My wife, on the other hand wants to bite the bullet and go for it. She has no trouble spending money.. ...... One of the hardest things in life to learn is "when is enough, enough ?" Bigger house, bigger trucks, bigger boats, 200+ cable stations, plasma screen TV's, gota have, gota have, gota have............ It's not having what you want, It's wanting what you have..........
  15. The wife and I went to the Syracuse show with the intent of making a deal on the 19ft. Starcraft fishmaster. We couldn't believe how much the prices went up.  I just bolted a new Traxstech track system on the old Starcraft and will add a new Furuno sonar in a few weeks and keep the other $25,000 in the bank. I can't justify that kind of money to fish one day a week.
  16. Firefox and Thunderbird e-mail....2 years now.... THE best
  17. Nice Stuff. My order's in...
  18. I guess we are all the same...... just dropped 6 bills on a new Traxstech track system............. starting to get very tired of the snow..........
  19. I've stacked riggers for a bunch of years before dipseys and leadcore were all the rage. The only time I stack now is to get 2 lures deep with longer leads. To tell you the truth, it doesn't make any difference. The key is to do it the same each time so you don't get tangled up. I run 2 downriggers off the sides with the bottom rod in the 'rigger holder pointing out sideways. The top rod goes in a holder pointing straight off the stern. I just have to remember to pull rods from the center of the boat outwards, and I'm always pulling the top rod first. Just my 2cents
  20. I have 2 Cannon universal swivel bases for sale. The top plate has the hole patterns to fit most makes of downriggers. I've had Cannon, Big Jon and Scotty's mounted on them. Base is 4 1/2" square, top plate is 5"by 6", 2 3/4" high. Very good condition. Upgrading to a track system so no longer needed. $80.00 for the pair, you pick up or pay shipping. Thanks, Jim S.
