There were huts between the point and eagle today. Others were on the east side of eagle and down off shaker heights. Seemed to be everywhere still.

Dark, poor lights, too far, shooting at eyes, inexperience and carelessness. I would hope it wasn't intentional

I believe there around 45 teams as of the end of the week for the pro am and around 30 in the 1k a day. The weather is looking great for late week and next weekend. If you are on the fence with concerns about the weather, its looking like its going to be a great week of fishing. Deadline for entry into the pro am is Monday so lets keep the entries coming

East end No Comm violations?
Time Out replied to Yankee Troller's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
As far as the Sodus pro am goes there were no problems with teams violating the no communication rule. There were no rules infractions at all with the exception of a couple of teams having observer issues and those were handled in accordance to the rules. I am not sure where Bill got his information about Sodus, but it was not from anyone involved with running the tournament. Jeff Zimmer Cold water Affair Sodus pro am -
Sure Strike in the pro division and Dipsey Ranger in the Am
-
Remember ams don't have to worry about the slot as you are only allowed one lake trout for the tournament. Regulations allow one fish in the slot and one out of the slot.

We did fairly well on them this weekend. Fished around the islands and there were some on their beds still and a few in the 10-20 ft range. Most were caught on crank baits. Did not try live bait but I think crabs would be worth a shot.

Wayne, The tournament limit is 12 fish in any combination of the above -
There will be no size restriction for the am division boats as there are no spotters aboard this year to accommodate. The am division will be fishing unless a small craft advisory is posted or conditions are deemed unsafe by the committee. Obviously the final division will be decided by the team captain wether their team fishes or not or decides to end early if conditions deteriorate beyond their liking before it is officially called.

What is up with Sodus?
Time Out replied to stoutner's topic in New York Fishing Reports - Lake Ontario (South Shore)
In thinking back past the last couple years, this is about normal for Sodus. kings would normally show up just before the pro am. The last couple of years they seemed to show up a couple weeks early. I would say the average explosion of kings would occur around July 8. -
