  1. I have a 2005 Silverado Z71 1500 Ext Cab with the 5.3 and pull my 24' Penn Yan Hard Top with it. The truck pulls it just fine, plenty of power. This is my second Chevy after owning 2 Fords.

  7. Bellows last longer if you take care of them properly. By that I mean lowering your outdrive after each trip so that the bellows are not stretched out and exposed to the sun. The only time my outdrive is up is when I am towing the boat to the launch. Other than that, my outdrive is down. My Dad just had to replace the bellows on his boat, a 1987 Sea Ray. His bellows were originals and lasted this long. They weren't even all that badly cracked. I think they lasted so long since he always lowers the outdrive after each use.
  8. Fished Sibbald Point Saturday and Sunday in 7 - 12 FOW, ice was between 6" - 8" with a TON of slush. Lots of fish to sort through, saw many big boys swim by that wouldn't bite, but got a few bigger ones perfect for a fish fry. All types and colors of jigs and spoons worked well.

  13. Clarke, Thanks for the number. Musky, I didn't know duty free had them. I'll have to check out the one at the Lewiston Queenston bridge. Tim, I usually just go across the Lewiston Queenston bridge to the CT, but really got harassed at the border about it last year for some reason. I just wanted to avoid making another trip across the border if I could, but thanks for the thought
