    I'm happy with my lithium probe, much better than my old x4d probe which never seemed to work right, even after sending it back to fish hawk to repair it.

    Leave the rear treble on there, we tie a short piece of floro to a small stinger treble that then hangs back about 1.5" from the stock treble to help get those short striking fish. We also use those Northland slip on stinger hooks if we have any at the time.

    Try running a small stinger hook, has worked well for us on those days where they are very light striking

    Will a Fish Hawk Lithium Pro Probe work with an X4D fish hawk? I know the Lithium Ultra is the one that sends depth, but curious if the Lithium Pro will still work with the X4D, but it just won't show the depth.

    One came off, it's reverse thread. The other is stuck, need to figure out a way to unscrew it with breaking anything, probably need to wait till it's a bit warmer outside.

    Does anyone know how to get the screen on the livewell drain on the outside of the transom off? I'm not sure if they unscrew, or are pressed on. I tried removing mine, they won't move and I don't want to break anything and create more work. Boat is a 19' Starcraft superfisherman, I want to plug off the one livewell so that I can use it for dry storage.

    I'm installing one now, and my HDS9 Gen2 Touch doesn't show the autopilot in the settings. It does show it in the device list, so I know the system is almost working. Any idea on how to get my settings to show the autopilot in it so that I can commission the autopilot? Presume it's a software update that I need to do, although I did update my software. Maybe it needs to go back to a previous version?

    It has been windy the past few days, yes you can see boat on the Fort cam when they are out there.

    Most of those fish in 55' were small. At least they were on Sun for us, our bigger fish came from 60' and deeper.

    Did they ever reply if the camera would be back up? Such a great tool for checking real time conditions, especially when taking the little kids out.

    Mine has always had water come out from there, seems normal.

    That is at the marina where you were slipped for a few days, correct? The bigger issue is for those who trailer their boats, all those cleaning stations are out of commission.

    Good question, creates a real issue when there shouldn't be one with all the taxes and launch fees that we pay.

    I watched a guy launch a 28 Baha with twin inboards at the south Fort Niagara ramp before, he seemed to have no issues. That was in the spring couple years ago.

    In mine I have the single post captain chair so I always kept the cooler on deck right behind the captain chair, doubled as a seat. Never seemed to be in the way right there, the cockpit is big enough.

    I made a short test run and my FH now works, I changed nothing in my setup, other than sending in my probe & display for testing. So I have no idea why it stopped working for two trips and now it works again. Glad it works again but not really confident on what the issue was. Thank you everyone for all your tips and suggestions.
