  1. Mudflat, is that a 25" shaft on your Yamaha? Looks like we have the same boat. I wasn't sure a fixed position bracket would get the kicker far enough down into the water. Do you have any more pics of your install?
  2. Looking for a good strong bracket for a 4 stroke 25" kicker, not sure which is better the Panther or Garelick. I seem to remember a post saying one had issues where the attachment blocks were failing.
  3. So I guess the next question is how much juice do these new EFI kickers use on their own. The Tohatsu 9.9 is EFI and has 12A output. Aside from the benefits of EFI, I wonder if going that route is worth it. Seems like 6A would be enough, just don't want to buy something and then wish i had gone with a different motor.
  4. Looking at kickers, and I am questioning if the common 6A output is enough for running everything on the boat. I know the high speed riggers use a lot of juice, my concern is if the 6A will be enough to keep up with the demand.
  5. That's awesome!! What model Baha is that?
  6. That's awesome
  7. Could you post a link to the parts you bought to do this?
  8. I would think it would work for a floor just fine since it doesn't support a load at all times. That's my concern with using it for a transom core, that it will bend over time and distort. Sent from my XT1254 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Has anyone used King Starboard or similar plastic as the material when replacing a transom in an aluminum boat? The original wood backer that is inside the transom is wood. My concern is whether the starboard has enough strength for this application. The starboard website says motor mounts are an application, however real word experience means more. I like the idea of plastic as it will never rot.
  10. How long till this thread gets locked?
  11. The north set is open, it is about 6" above the water, I used them Sat morning.

  16. Is the south launch still being worked on or blocked off? Anyone been down there recently to see?
  17. I couldn't get a laker either even when marking hundreds of them on the graph...... weird
  18. Nice Lund, but a little bit out of the price range, i'm looking for a project type boat.
  19. I've seen that boat, always thought it was on the smaller side. I'll have to look closer the next time I go past it. Ideally I'd like to find a 19 Starcraft or Sea Nymph
  20. I'm looking for a 19' Aluminum project boat. It must be Outboard powered as I want to use it during the winter and don't want to deal with an I/O. Let me know what you have or know about that might be sitting around. It doesn't even need a motor as my plan is to repower with a new 4 stroke outboard. Thanks
  21. I looked last weekend, the water level is up pretty good. Not sure about how deep the north ramp is, but there is more water now than there was in the fall and winter.
  22. It looked like only the north part was open, I don't think the repairs are done yet
  23. When you use the Youngstown launch and park up top, do you have to walk back on the road or is there a cut through or stairs back down?
  24. What hole were you using on the back for the leader?
