I have been using Forschner Fillet Knives for years doing Deer Processing an absolutely incredible knife Super Durable and incredibly Sharp... There is no other knife for the price that I will use... Except for Skinning Deer then I have a nice Remington blade that comes with a Sheath for $30 online....... Woody

I have found a better hookset without the Snubbers.. Ran them for the first year with the wire rods and then went straight no snubbers and more hookups....Just my 2 cents

Guys I have a quick question that Stimulated my peabrain the other day.. I was jigging Lake O the other day and snagged a few Gobies and they were good sized.... I was thinking about filleting them to work in a Meat Rig or Sushi setup... I know it aint an Alewife but wondered how it would work.... Anybody ever try this before????.. Thanks Woody

Wayne nice report...... Another awesome thing to see is the evening bite... The Screen lights up with Bait and Fish and you got Streakers all over the Screen..... You can point at rods and say get ready that ones gonna go and sure enough... ITS INSANE!!!!!!.... I Love our Fishery... Woody

Hermit and Chug the other day was my maiden voyage. I had planned on hitting Canandaigua but with the 4th of July I figured I would just stay clear away till monday.. so I figured I would troll for a few hours in between kids doctors appointments and other kid commitments.. But the Lake was whitecapping and to windy to troll so I brought all my jigging stuff and seen some nice hooks and bait on bottom in 85fow so I tried but the wind just kept blowing me off the fish.... Great Screen on the fishfinder but could not get the jig to the bottom.. If I can get a calm morning I know I can produce on Lake Ontario........ Woody P.S I would Love a 25lb King on a jig.... Sounds like a Challenge.

Hermit nice report... I tried jigging lake O the other day but the wind was pushing me like 1.8 sog on the GPS... I tried holding my ground with my trolling motor but could not do it.... I could see nice fish on the bottom with bait balls around just too Windy..... Woody

Mike Nice Report... I tried headng out of Hughes at noon but the ake was starting to whitecap so I stayed in close and called around 400pm.... Thanks to NOAA with another failed weather report.... They said 1 foot or less......Yeah NO....

Tom, Tell Dustin to enjoy his time at Rushford.... I spent a week there about 25 years ago and I learned a ton.... I made some good friends and if I had a boy he would be heading down for the Experience........... My girls do not have that desire at all....... Woody

Guys how are the weeds on Keuka..... As far as I remember as a kid it was a weed free lake and Cayuga was Choked with weeds....... Im thinking maybe wednesday or thursday heading to Keuka to jig the Bluffs......... Woody

Guys that is some Incredible Information..Chowder (Andy) has given me some awesome information over the last year on equipment and tactics, I just have not been able to get out after them.... I am going to jig Canandaigua tonight and prolly in the am on wednesday.... I hope to bring a camera to photograph my Success...... Guff and Hermit Thanks for the information... I have been wanting to do this for some time now and everybody I talk to about jigging for Lakers except a few give me a Weird Stare.... Guff I have a 17 1/2 foot Spectrum and a 4 wheel drive truck so do you think I can handle that ramp.... Ive launched at little ole gravel launches with my truck and that boat so I should be able to handle it.... Is there a charge to launch there.... Thanks
